Trippel XXX Belgian Ale is a prime example of this light colored but potent member of the Trappist Ale family. The use of pure Belgian Candi Sugar aids in giving this beer it’s authentic Belgian character. It is medium to full bodied with a light malt/hops aroma and warming (but not alcoholic) undertones.
