An excellent red wine grape, native to the Rhone River in France, where it is known as Syrah. It produces a rich, dark and robust wine, combining notes of warm berries, fresh pepper and oak. This little grape is responsible for Australia's finest red wines. Shiraz is the perfect accompaniment with rich, flavorful meats and pasta.
